AREOLA PIGMENTATION / TATTOO
Areola micropigmentation can create a 3D effect of protruding nipples, by using different shades of areola pigments to mimic the shadows, patterns, roughness, and to create Montgomery glands. This is generally done for post masectomy candidates. This procedure is also suitable for candidates with irregular, disproportionate and fading areolas – delivering an ultra successful and natural result.

Nipple-areola tattooing done with iron oxide and titanium dioxide pigments thus appears to be a reasonably safe and effective procedure in most patients but may require one or more subsequent touch-ups for appropriate color match. Assessments, areola colours and our best advise will be discussed at consultations, which precede every procedure.
